Reynald & Monica's Filipino wedding at Hensol Castle in Cardiff was nothing short of amazing! After our first meeting with Rey and Monica & hearing all about their big plans for the day, we had been buzzing with excitement ever since. The day kicked off in the city centre of Cardiff at a Mercure hotel. The hotel had such a stunning aesthetic, so we made sure to make good use of the space and get creative. Rey and Monica had a beautiful moment together in the morning before the ceremony, where they share a first touch and exchanged gifts.

We then headed to a St Peter’s Church, a stunning church where Rey and Monica got married. It was a huge church, with a stunning backdrop, filled with flowers and beautiful light. This was the first Filipino wedding for us and we absolutely loved capturing some of their traditions.

Our next stop was Hensol Castle—our first time there, and wow, what a venue! The beautiful grounds provided the perfect backdrop for some wedding photos.

The wedding reception was filled with surprises: dance performances for each other, a touching father-daughter dance, and a money dance, where guests showed their support by sticking money to the bride and groom. The party was absolutely wild, full of laughter, dancing, and pure joy.

Not going to lie we spent nearly 3 hours viewing our gallery as they were too good to just keep skipping on the amazing shots and detailed shots they took on our wedding day! Their website was pretty easy to navigate and use.
